What we offer

Hockey at Thomas Telford School allows all students the opportunity to take part in a fast, skilful and fun team sport. The chance to train and develop with their peers through our dedicated year group training sessions, will enhance students physical, mental and social skills.

Students can display their skills and ability in a range of competitive fixtures and openings. Our year group interhouse and Inter-academy tournaments will help students experience gameplay in a familiar and safe environment. With friendly fixtures against local schools allowing for students first taste of competitive games. Our students will also have the chance to test themselves in the highly competitive District, County and Midlands Championships. This can lead them onto the pathway for the pinnacle of the hockey calendar, the National Schools Cups.

Our state-of-the-art sand-dressed blue Astro turf, gives the students the very best surface to practice and develop their game, whether they are a beginner or a junior international.
