External Applicants

If you are interested in applying to Thomas Telford School for 2021 please complete an application form and return it to the Admissions Office along with a photo copy of the latest report and attendance figure that you have available. Please forward any further information and reports to support your application when you receive them.

We also offer Business, Football and Performing Arts courses through our Business Academy, Football Academy and Performing Arts Academy. If you are interested in applying for any of these you will need to complete a separate application form. Please note that you are able to apply for the Sixth Form and one of our Academies but you must complete separate application forms.

On receipt of your application we will contact your current School for a confidential reference.

There is no deadline for applications however we recommend that you submit your application as soon as possible as offers will be made on an ongoing basis when we have received all of the documentation. All offers will be conditional on you achieving the minimum entry requirements for your chosen courses.

If you are unsuccessful in receiving an offer you will remain on our reserve list and we may be able to make a late offer to you.

Students in receipt of an offer

Sixth Form students will be invited to take part in the Sixth Form Induction Day on Thursday 8 July. Details of this one day programme will be sent to you nearer the time.

Resources will be provided for all students who are hoping to start A level and BTEC programmes in September. Details of how to access these resources will be provided.

Students will be invited to come to School on Friday 13 August with their GCSE results to confirm a place on their chosen courses. Any students unable to attend can email proof of their results in on that day. Courses cannot be guaranteed for any students who do not either come into School or email us.
