New apprentices at The Guild of Mercers’ Scholars

We are delighted to congratulate Henry M and Celeste Y, who have been accepted as apprentices of The Guild of Mercers’ Scholars at a prestigious ceremony held at the Guildhall in London this week.

As members of the Guild, Henry and Celeste will each be paired with a dedicated mentor throughout their time at university. Their mentors will provide careers guidance, professional advice, and access to an extensive network of industry contacts within the Guild which is an invaluable opportunity as they begin their higher education journeys.

We are especially proud that former Thomas Telford student and Guildsman Tom Evans (pictured right) will serve as Henry’s mentor, while Celeste will be supported by a professional pilot who will offer expert insight and encouragement as she pursues her degree in Aerospace Engineering.

It is a true honour for Thomas Telford School to continue its association with The Guild of Mercers’ Scholars, and we are thrilled that Henry and Celeste will benefit from this outstanding programme.
