Promoting Careers in Engineering

We were delighted to welcome back former student Hannah Thomas who is currently studying for an engineering degree at the University of Bath. Hannah talked to current 6.1 students about her experiences at university and her fascinating year in industry placement at Williams Advanced Engineering.

Sharing examples of her project work, Hannah talked about how much she is enjoying her university course and shared some of the highlights of her year at Williams, including her team’s involvement in projects such as the new mega-horsepower electric Lotus Evija.

Hannah is keen to encourage more females to consider careers in engineering and certainly inspired all our students to do some careful research into their university courses and to make the most of industry links.

It was fantastic to welcome Hannah back to School again and we wish her well with her final 2 years at university!
