Students Celebrate GCSE Success

Wed, 14 Jan 2015

The outstanding successes of last Summer’s GCSE students were marked at a celebration evening held at Thomas Telford School.  The Guest of Honour at the Year 11 Achievement Evening was Dr Martin Ounsted, TTS Governor and member of The Mercers’ Company of the City of London. The Mercers’ Company is a main sponsor of the School.

Dr Ounsted presented all the students with their GCSE certificates and prizes were awarded for outstanding effort and achievement across the range of academic studies as well as for sporting and artistic success.   Students, parents and other guests were entertained by final year students Alicia Albananese and Emma Marsh to a superb rendition of ‘You Love Who You Love’ from Bonnie and Clyde the Musical and there were also videos looking back over the students five years at the School.
