Higher Education and Careers Fair

Thomas Telford School welcomed over 50 universities and employers for a Higher Education and Careers Fair last week. Over 500 students and parents visited the fair to find out about the wide range of degree courses, jobs and apprenticeships available and enjoyed face-to-face discussions with student ambassadors, apprentices and employers.

It was particularly nice to welcome back four former students who now work at local accountancy firm ChadStone. They have all progressed into employment and been supported to achieve AAT accountancy qualifications.

Mrs Flynn, Director of Careers said:

“We are delighted the careers fair has been so well attended tonight. These events help to raise students’ aspirations and capitalise on the fantastic range of opportunities available. We are very grateful to all the exhibitors for giving up their time to support the fair.”
