Harry Rogers, Amber Richards, Oliver Leason and Elliot Mallen are currently working with Mahle as part of the Engineering Education Scheme (EES). Mahle is a large multinational company with a big site in Telford.

Rhys Wenlock has recently been awarded a commendation from the Institute of Biology for taking part in their annual Olympiad.
 
This is a fantastic achievement for someone who only started studying A level Biology in September 2011.

Gurpreet Johl

Gurpreet Johl has successfully secured an offer of a place at Oxford University to read Engineering Science. Gurpreet passed the rigours of the interview process with flying colours. His previous success in winning an Arkwright scholarship for his Technology studies in the Sixth Form no doubt assisted him in his quest for a place.

Sam Bentham

Sam Bentham has been offered a place at Oxford University to study Mathematics. Sam is currently studying Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry.
 
He has already achieved an A* in A Level Maths and is on target to achieve an A* in Further Maths as well as A grades in Physics and Chemistry.

Harry Rogers is this weeks star student, Harry has been awarded a Prestigious Arkwright scholarship. After a rigorous selections process, including a 2 hour exam and interviews at a university Harry was selected to join just 300 other students nationwide.

This week�s Star Student is Ashleigh Miles who attended the European Jujitsu Championships held in Cheltenham in October. Ashleigh came first in the Under 40kg category which means that she is now the European Champion!

Star Students this week are Kathryn Haynes (6.2), Daniella Nicholls (6.1) and Grace Kendrick (Year 11) who have all recently gained the prestigious Gold Award from the Royal School of Church Music for their outstanding singing and choral leadership skills.
