This 11-18 City Technology College with an enrolment of 1200 students was named in Her Majesty's Chief Inspector's Annual Report for its remarkable Ofsted Inspection Report and excellent examination results. The School was graded Outstanding in every single category in its latest Ofsted Inspection.
All students in Key Stage 4 study French or German and there are opportunities for students to learn both languages. Spanish has been introduced in Key Stage 3 and we intend to extend this option to Key Stage 4 in 2009. At Sixth Form level, A Level courses in French and German are popular. The Languages Department includes six staff who work in well resourced environment achieving excellent examination results.
